Our legacy of giving back started when we first opened our doors. Helping our community was important to Nat, and we proudly carry out his tradition with numerous children’s charities that are both close to our homes, and our hearts.

Thank you!

Giving back to the community has always been important to us, but now more than ever we are proud to be able to help out. Since March 2020, our Triple O’s on-the-go has helped deliver and donate over 5000 burgers to serve those who serve our community. Thank you to our healthcare heroes, first responders & community heroes for everything you do. Thank you for guiding us through these unprecedented times, and showing us what it truly means to be in this together. We hope we were able to brighten your days, and we can’t thank you enough for all your dedication and selflessness.

Variety the children’s charity

Since 1966, White Spot has been an active supporter of Variety, including the Variety’s Got Talent event and Variety’s Show of Hearts Telethon. In addition to monetary donations, over 125 White Spot employees donate their time each year help serve burgers to volunteers at the telethon, helping with its continued success.

White Spot Pipe Band

We don’t know the difference between a drum major and a drone stick, but we’re proud to sponsor those who do. Reflecting the generosity of our founder, Nat Bailey, we’ve been a proud sponsor since 1963, helping the White Spot Pipe Band continue their important work instructing and encouraging more than 500 young kids.

Vancouver Giants

White Spot and the Giants have a long standing partnership in supporting local charities. Whether it’s our joint $100,000 donation to The Province’s Empty Stocking Fund, the CKNW Kids Fund or our on-ice Teddy Bear Toss, it’s all in support of children who need it most.

Ocean Wise

We believe in giving our guests the option to choose better. Which is why we’re proud to offer a wide Ocean Wise menu with sustainable, delicious choices at the glance of an eye. Look for the Ocean Wise logo and help us do our part in preserving the health of our rivers and oceans.

Felix Farms and the Guichon Family

Back in 1935, Nat Bailey shook hands with Felix Guichon, a local farmer from Delta, BC. Nat was happy to find someone who cared about quality potatoes as much as he did, resulting in a partnership lasting 3 generations – and counting.

Zajac Ranch for Children

Fundraising for Zajac Ranch for Children through our Pirate Pak day is one of our favorite events of the year. We’re proud to serve up nostalgia and let adults eat from our coveted Pirate Pak almost as much as we’re proud to help send children with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities to summer camp.

Pirate Pak Day

Every August is our annual Pirate Pak Day where the young-at-heart get a chance to feel like a kid again – all while helping a worthy cause.

Pirate Pak Day isn’t just for kids. For every Adult and Kids Pirate Pak and select entrée that we sell on Pirate Pak Day, we’ll make a $2 donation to the Zajac Ranch for Children – a summer camp that brings joy to children and young adults with serious medical conditions.

Over the years you’ve helped raise over $989,000 for the Zajac Ranch, providing hundreds of young mateys with a summer camp experience – thank you for your support.

We support local charities & giving back.

White Spot proudly supports various local charities and initiatives across the province. On a company-wide level as well as locally at each restaurant, we are committed to supporting local communities through donations and the like. As we are a well-loved iconic brand, we receive a lot of requests. To make our selection process as fair as possible, we hold a monthly draw for items that can be used for your silent auctions, door prizes, raffles, etc.

Please send your request letter to guestrelations@whitespot.ca to be considered for the draw. Due to the large volume of requests, only winners will be contacted at the end of each month. Good luck, and thanks for the opportunity to let us help out with your initiative.

Own a bit of BC’s Own

We’re always looking for good people to become our franchise partners. People who want to be part of BC’s iconic brand. People who care about quality food, amazing team members and about giving back to our communities. We’re looking for people who want to own their own restaurant with the support of a team driven to help them succeed. We’re looking for people like you.
