Marketing Coordinator

White Spot Hospitality is currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator.  Based in Vancouver BC, and reporting to the Senior White Spot Marketing Manager, this role provides support to both our White Spot and Triple O’s brands through a broad range of digital and other marketing responsibilities that maintain and build on the strengths of our business.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days in office at 8223 Sherbrooke Avenue in Vancouver, BC, after an initial period requiring more in-office time for learning and to establish relationships.

Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting our Brand Managers: Work with our Triple O’s and White Spot Brand Managers and advertising agency on the execution of key sales building programs including establishing timelines, assisting with creative development, assisting with menu tests and rollup of results, proofing training materials, communicating programs to our restaurants, coordinating delivery of point of sale material, providing creative input and coordination support for our limited time promotions, executing added value media (media kits, meal drops, etc.), assisting in promotional debriefs and analysis of all promotional programs.
• Marketing Administrative Support: Manage the collection of invoices, budget control reports and provide support with fiscal budgeting. A high level of organization and detail is essential.
• Local Store Marketing, Promotional & Menu Support: As needed, work closely with Brand Managers to provide administrative and other support for programs
• Website & Digital Sales Channel Support & Analysis: Provide support for our digital sales channels including frequent updates to our website content, google listings, online ordering platform, delivery channels and also e-newsletter design and deployment
• Guest Relations: Act as ambassador to our White Spot Restaurant and Triple O’s brands, this role assists in responding to marketing related guest feedback received through website, social and other channels, and provides similar support to our social media department
• Special projects as assigned We are a very fast-paced department with many projects on the go simultaneously. There is never a shortage of new projects and opportunities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A marketing or business diploma/degree with a minimum of 2-3 years marketing experience. Previous hospitality experience is not required, but is ideal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects that are delivered on time and on budget
• This role requires a high level of detail, multiple rounds of proofing, someone who enjoys technology & using their aptitude for analysis
• High attention to detail with excellent organization, planning and coordination skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills – both in digital, by phone and in-person
• Ability to work closely with the marketing team as well as internal stakeholders and external partners
• A high level of proficiency in Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
• Familiarity with WordPress, Survey Monkey, Mailchimp and social media platforms is a strong asset
• InDesign and Photoshop skills are not required but considered a bonus
• Strong analytical and budget management skills
