RICHMOND CENTRE WHITE SPOT SUPPORTS THE COMMUNITY IN A BIG WAY

Richmond Centre White Spot gives back in a big way with over $200,000 raised for the Richmond Hospital Foundation since 2002

RICHMOND, BC (January 24, 2025) — White Spot, BC’s beloved restaurant chain, proudly supports various charities across the province each year, upholding Nat Bailey’s tradition of giving back to the communities they serve. The team at White Spot Richmond Centre exemplifies this value by hosting an annual fundraiser to benefit Richmond Hospital Foundation, a charity committed to ensuring a better and healthier future for Richmond residents.

During the month of December, the local Richmond restaurant team members and guests rallied together for a fundraising initiative where $2 from every burger sold for dine-in for the entire month was donated, which resulted in an incredible $7,326 raised for Richmond Hospital Foundation.

“In December we took on a month-long initiative to raise funds for Richmond Hospital Foundation, continuing our commitment to giving back to our community in a meaningful way,” said Mathew Oommen, Richmond Centre White Spot General Manager, “Our partnership with the foundation spans more than 20 years, and we are honored to support the work they do to improve health and well-being in our community.”

Through various initiatives since 2002, the team at Richmond Centre White Spot has raised well over $200,000 for the foundation.

“White Spot Richmond Centre has been a dedicated supporter of health care in Richmond for over two decades,” said Spencer Gall, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Richmond Hospital Foundation, “Their donations help strengthen health care services in Richmond while encouraging the community to get involved and contribute to something greater. We are grateful for White Spot Richmond Centre’s continuous thoughtfulness and generosity.”

The team at Richmond Centre White Spot works with other local organizations throughout the year and proudly upholds White Spot’s tradition of giving back to the communities they serve. Thank you to the team at Richmond Centre White Spot and the Richmond community for helping make this achievement possible.
