BC Adventure Days are Back!

The 115th Abbotsford Agrifair runs from August 2 – 4, at Abbotsford Exhibition Park. Since 1909, Abbotsford Agrifair has been a place for the community to celebrate its agricultural roots through exhibits, entertainment, food and so much more. Agrifair 2024 will have attractions such as Nightly Concerts, Demo Derby Shows, All Star Wrestling, Pig Races, Dog Show, Country Horse Classic, 4-H Shows, Midway, Food Trucks and MORE. Browse through the Museum Shop, which features First Nations carvings and jewelry, local art and books about the coast.

The Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea is a non-profit community aquarium and learning centre located on the traditional lands of the WSÁNEĆ First Nations on the beautiful waterfront in Sidney, BC. The Centre features over 160 local species of fish and invertebrates as well as an impressive collection of marine mammal skeletons, artifacts, First Nations artwork and other educational exhibits. Our mission is to create experiences that engage people to learn about, explore and conserve the Salish Sea Bioregion – its wildlife, waters, land, culture and people.

The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum strives to preserve and highlight the interrelated nature of the Railway and Forestry industries, and their impact on our people. Located at the confluence of the Nechako and Fraser Rivers, on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, in Prince George, you can find over fifty train cars, ten historical buildings, and countless artifacts spanning 8-acres. With beautiful grounds, picnic tables, and room for the whole family (leashed animals included!) make it a family day.
